Officer K is a blade runner: a replicant who “retires” (kills) older Nexus-8 models that have gone rogue. After retiring one such replicant, Sapper Morton (Dave Bautista), K discovers a buried box containing the remains of a female replicant who died during a caesarean section. This proves replicants could reproduce — something thought impossible.
