Bleach All Seasons Today

Back to canon. Aizen’s army of Arrancars descends on Karakura Town. Ichigo meets his rival: the feral, blue-haired Grimmjow. Most importantly, the Visoreds arrive—former Soul Reapers who gained Hollow powers, led by Shinji Hirako. They offer to train Ichigo to control his inner Hollow.

Ichigo’s inner world battle against his Hollow side ("Hollow Ichigo") is a masterclass in psychological horror. Season 7: The Fighting (Episodes 132–151) Arc: Arrancar: The Hueco Mundo Sneak Entry Key Episodes: 142 ("Enemy Attack! Shinigami vs. Arrancar")

Ichigo’s first clash with Kenpachi Zaraki, the bloodthirsty captain of the 11th Division, ends with Ichigo learning to hear the "Zangetsu" (his sword’s spirit). Season 3: The Rescue (Episodes 42–63) Arc: Soul Society: The Rescue Key Episodes: 59 ("Conclusion of the Death Match! White Pride and Black Desire") bleach all seasons

Generally considered slow and tedious. The powers are inconsistent. However, it develops the relationship between Ichigo and the mod-souls. Skippable for manga purists, but it contains a few cool fights for Renji. Season 5: The Assault (Episodes 92–109) Arc: Bount Assault on Soul Society (Filler Cont.) Key Episodes: 105 ("Grimmjow! The Fierce Fighting Begins")

Another filler arc about fake captains called "Regai" created by a mad scientist. It’s repetitive and mostly ignored. Season 16: The Lost Agent (Episodes 292–366) Arc: The Fullbring Arc (Final Canon Season before the Hiatus) Key Episodes: 342 ("Thank You"), 366 ("The Changing History, Unchanging Heart") Back to canon

Note: This is the first major filler arc. Since the anime caught up to the manga, the studio created an original villain group: the Bounts—immortal humans who consume souls using living dolls called "Dolls."

It’s a psychological thriller. Ichigo’s despair, the betrayal, and the shocking return of the Gotei 13 (Rukia stabs Ichigo with a sword made of the captains’ reiatsu) is incredible. It ends with Ichigo getting his powers back and the phrase: "The Bleach is over." Season 7: The Fighting (Episodes 132–151) Arc: Arrancar:

The Shinigami fight back using "Hollowfication pills" to steal back their Bankai. Kenpachi Zaraki unleashes his true power. The Zero Division (Royal Guard) enters the fray. Arc: Thousand-Year Blood War (The Final Battle) Expected Episodes: 417–442

Barragan, the God of Death, whose power ages anything to dust. His fight against captain-commander Yamamoto’s lieutenant, Sasakibe, is iconic. Season 11: The Zanpakuto (Episodes 206–212) Arc: The Past Arc (Turn Back the Pendulum) – CANON Key Episodes: 208 ("Aizen and the Genius Boy")

The final fight between Ichigo and the Bount leader, Kariya, is visually stunning, but the arc drags. Season 6: The Arrancar (Episodes 110–131) Arc: Arrancar: The Arrival Key Episodes: 110 ("Reopening of the Substitute Business! The Terrifying Transfer Student")

The bulk of the "Soul Society arc." This season is a tournament-like structure where Ichigo fights every major captain. The plot thickens as the true villain emerges: , who fakes his death, reveals he orchestrated everything, and escapes to the Hollow dimension (Hueco Mundo) with the ultimate artifact, the Hogyoku.
