The film follows a skeptical journalist investigating a series of ritualistic murders in a remote Javanese village. The locals blame a mysterious “Don Dukun,” a shaman who allegedly trades in black magic for wealth. As the journalist digs deeper, he discovers that the real horror might not be ghosts, but the greed of men hiding behind supernatural masks.
