What initially appears to be a routine odd-job request—hunting a parasitic alien loose in a public bathhouse—quickly descends into glorious chaos. The episode openly mocks The Thing (1982) and Alien , complete with tense standoffs, gruff whispers of "It could be any one of us," and Gintoki wielding a wooden sword as if it were a pulse rifle.
