Excellent. Notice the magic phrases: “Would it be possible…” and “I appreciate your help.” Now, you try the whole dialogue alone. Pause the audio, play the waiter’s line, and say your line out loud. Ready?
(Firm but calm) That’s not an option. I’m the maid of honour. But… let me finish my thought. I can work on the flight Friday night, and I can be back online Sunday evening by 6 p.m. That’s 10 hours.
