This paper examines the Hindi-language film Mango Dreams , directed by John运气 (or correct director name if known), focusing on its portrayal of Alzheimer’s disease within the Indian diaspora. Through the friendship between a Hindu man with dementia and a Muslim rickshaw driver, the film challenges stereotypes of aging, religious conflict, and medicalized care. Using narrative analysis and cultural studies frameworks, the paper argues that Mango Dreams reimagines memory loss not as erasure but as a fragmented archive of postcolonial identity.
