Then she saw the last entry. A film she had never heard of. No release year. No director. The title was simply: [RECURSION_LOOP]

Elara sat in the dark. Outside, the city's Flow screens blared the new "Trending Trauma" category—a curated set of tragedies designed to be consumed and forgotten in 48 hours.

She pressed play.

She typed RECURSION_LOOP .

Elara Mears hadn't chosen her silence. It had been chosen for her.

The usual categories were there: Action, Romance, Documentary. But at the very bottom, in a grayed-out, pulsing font, was a new header:

"You found the Null Category," the woman said. Her name was Mira. "You have three minutes before they trace your terminal. UNBOUND isn't a bug. It's a trap."

"What are you talking about?"

A woman's face appeared. Not a celebrity. Not an AI. A real person, with tired eyes and a slight tremor in her jaw. Behind her, Elara saw shelves of VHS tapes.
