Service was warm, music was 90s Indipop (so bonus points for nostalgia), and the chai came in a cut-glass tumbler.
I walked in expecting a gimmick — you know, the usual “vintage Bollywood meets hipster” vibe with overpriced chai. But Second Chance Firangi actually delivered.

Ordered the Butter Chicken Mac & Cheese (yes, that’s a thing here) and a Smoked Paneer Tikka Taco . The fusion actually works — creamy, smoky, with just enough spice to remind you it’s Indian at heart. The Firangi Dal Makhani (with truffle oil, of all things) was surprisingly subtle, not show-offy.
Dates, solo soul-searching, or confusing your desi parents with “foreign” food that tastes like home. Only downside
