Then the chat log in the corner populated itself.
Her throat went dry. The ninja on screen turned its head. Its mask had no eyes, but she felt it looking at her. [SYSTEM] : All I ask is that you never turn off the build
[SYSTEM] : Your matchmaking code is bad because you don’t trust anyone. You wrote lag into the fabric of the game on purpose. So you’d never have to lose in real time.
Then she found the script.
