In the age of read receipts and ghosting, a cynical screenwriter and a hopeless romantic actress find themselves rewriting the rules of love through the very thing they distrust: their phones.

Their director, frustrated by their lack of on-screen chemistry, orders them to "method date" – not romantically, but digitally. They must text each other as their characters for two weeks.

Then the producer leaks their relationship to the press as a PR stunt for the show. Aarav sees the headline: "REAL LOVE OR FAKE WAP? AARAV & ZARA'S SET AFFAIR!"

"I don't have a protocol for this. I don't have a witty text or a three-dot excuse. I just know that every 'wap' I ever waited for in my life meant nothing until yours. I'm not here to reply. I'm here to stay."
